UCCS HEROES Scholarship Community Celebration at Red Leg Brewing Co.

Join us at Red Leg Brewing Company at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 1 for “Craft for a Cause” to celebrate the introduction of a new scholarship program at UCCS designed to support active-duty service members. This special evening celebrates the launch of the UCCS HEROES Scholarship, a new scholarship program with the aim of supporting our military heroes in achieving their educational and career aspirations. UCCS development staff and HEROES Scholarship community ambassadors will be on hand to answer questions, and The Jason Wulf Band will be performing live. About “Craft for a Cause:” Each Thursday evening during the summer months, Red Leg Brewing supports a selected non-profit to be the beneficiary of “Craft for a Cause,” donating $1 for every Red Leg beer purchased between 5-8 p.m. to that week’s selected non-profit. On August 1, Red Leg Brewing, a veteran-owned and operated business, has selected the UCCS HEROES Scholarship fund as the event’s featured beneficiary.
