"The Vittoria Ensemble of Denver presents J. S. Bach's Cantatas BWV4 and BWV182 alongside William Byrd’s Motet 'Ne Irascaris Domine' and James MacMillan's 'Data est mihi.' Each piece, from Bach's intricate polyphony to Byrd's lush harmonies, traces an emotional arc from celebration through loss and despair to final triumph.
