After four years British band alt-J has returned with their latest compilation The Dream (Feb 11), twelve songs playing with multi-instrumentalism, scratches, and beats continuing to challenge audiences to place alt-J under any specific genre. Lead guitarist and vocalist Joe Newman and keyboardist Gus Unger-Hamilton play an exclusive stripped down set featuring songs from the new album. They chat with Host Jason Thomas about being Mercury Prize winners after their debut album An Awesome Wave, starring in their own music videos, and musical inspirations.
