In the 2024 election, Yadira Caraveo is the Democratic nominee for Colorado's Eighth Congressional District.

Rep. Caraveo currently holds this seat, which she won in the 2022 election. That was the first time Colorado's had an Eighth Congressional District, which was drawn after the 2020 Census. The district extends from Denver's northern suburbs up through Greeley.
Rep. Caraveo is a pediatrician who previously served in the State Legislature. This year, she compete against Republican nominee Gabe Evans.
