Former Denver Mayor Wellington Webb was in New York City with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton on Tuesday night as the presidential election results came in -- as well as on Wednesday during her concession speech.
With Republicans moving into the Oval Office, as well as maintaining control of Congress, Democrats are looking for answers; one avenue the party is exploring is its presidential nomination process. Following the contentious race between Clinton and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, a unity reform commission was created.
Webb, who left the mayor's office in 2003, participated in the formation of the commission; during his speech at the Democratic National Convention in July, Webb said the commission is tasked with "assessing and improving our party's presidential nominating process."
