Ya gotta believe. Tonight, the Denver Nuggets enter game three of the NBA championships tied one-to-one. Fans had been hoping for a sweep of the Miami Heat. And if you don’t necessarily believe, we’ll chat with a man who does– CPR’s own super-fan, Vic Vela. Vic dressed up for Halloween when he was 7, as then-coach Doug Moe. And he recently wrote an essay for Denverite: “Even if you’re not much of a sports fan, this Nuggets team is for anyone who’s ever lost over and over again; the lovable losers among us who keep putting one foot in front of the other. They’re for anyone who has ever been kicked while they’re down.”
