As the Denver Nuggets make history, through the peaks and valleys, Bill Hanzlik has seen it all. Picked 20th out of Notre Dame in the 1980 NBA Draft, Hanzlik played ten seasons in the league: two with the Seattle Supersonics and eight with the Nuggets. He was known as a defensive stalwart. He retired as a player in 1991 and turned to coaching, including one season as the head coach of the Nuggets. Now, he’s a color analyst on Altitude TV and leads the Gold Crown Foundation. He spoke with CPR’s Tony Gorman as the NBA championships begin.
