Two Degrees" by California playwright Tira Palmquist. She workshopped the script in Denver during last year’s Colorado New Play Summit, an annual festival hosted by the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and devoted to new play development. This year, DCPA presented the show's world premiere.
“Two Degrees” follows Emma Phelps, a paleoclimatologist studying ice cores in Greenland. Phelps has been called to Washington D.C. to provide expert testimony about proposed climate change legislation before a congressional committee.
It runs through March 12 at The Jones in downtown Denver.
