The opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea, take place Thursday evening. Denver Post reporter and long-time Olympic writer John Meyer spoke with Colorado Matters about who the Colorado stars are on Team USA -- some of them are well-known names, others maybe less so. But the state’s already a winner, with more athletes on the team than any other state.
We’ll post audio from the conversation Thursday afternoon, but in the meantime here are the 31 members of Team USA from Colorado, their sport and specialty, and the towns and cities they call home. Click on their names for their official Team USA biographies.
