If you want a taste of life on Mars, just take a trip to the San Luis Valley. It turns out, the Great Sand Dunes there, are similar to dunes on the red planet. The dunes are so similar that geologists study the national park to understand what they see on missions like Curiosity, the rover that landed on Mars earlier this month. Ryan Warner speaks with Andrew Vadez, who’s a geologist at the park.
