Jackson Melnick is a Crested Butte native who grew up going to bluegrass festivals and became an acoustic musician in his own right. Melnick's debut album is called "Abilene." Aside from making new music, Melnick's been busy getting his Masters in social work. He'd like to help bring down high suicide rates in farming communities and that issue is at the heart of the track "Trouble."
