John Walsh, former U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado, was among a bipartisan coalition of about 80 former US Attorneys opposed to the Trump administration's policy since April of separating children from their families after being detained at the nation's southern border. He speaks with Colorado Matters about the group's letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions that says the family separations have led to unnecessary trauma for the children and created a burden on the justice system.
