Early voting is underway in the historic recall elections of two Democratic state senators. Angela Giron of Pueblo and John Morse of Colorado Springs both supported gun control measures in the last legislative session. The recall efforts have gained national attention, and have drawn national money. Ahead of election day, September 10, we wanted to get a sense of what it’s been like on the ground in these districts. Ryan Warner spoke with Pueblo Chieftain reporter Pete Roper and reporter Megan Schrader of the Colorado Springs Gazette.
