"How the National Park Service is failing women" is the headline from the High Country News cover story last month. It's part of a yearlong investigation called "A Legacy of Harassment," which examined reports of sexual harassment, misconduct and assault within the federal agency. The series caught the attention of the United States Congress.
Lyndsey Gilpin is a former editorial fellow with High Country News and wrote the December article, which included the story of Joan Anzelmo, a former superintendent of the Colorado National Monument.
