The site around Denver's Union Station is being transformed into a major transit hub for Amtrak, commuter rail to the airport, buses, and light rail. As part of that redevelopment, the historic train station will be turned into a hotel. The Regional Transportation District recently picked the hotel project over another plan, which would’ve turned this space into a fresh-food market, with offices on the upper floors. Ryan Warner talks to Walter Isenberg, president and CEO of Sage Hospitality, which is part of Union Station Alliance.
