Colorado has one of the fastest growing populations of people aged 65 and older: By 2030, the the state's senior population will more than double. In large part that's because of a wave of people that came here in the 1980s and 1990s -- Baby Boomers born between 1946 and 1964. The map above shows where they're settling, and creating an increased demand for services and housing as they move from work to retirement.
