Boulder cyclist Mara Abbott has twice won Italy's Giro Rosa, one of few opportunities for elite women cyclists to compete on a big stage that's often reserved for men. But now there's another one: The USA Pro Challenge, a men's race that winds through the state's mountains and cities, is adding a women's event this year.
