Congressman Mike Coffman is marching to the beat of a different drum when it comes to immigration reform. It wasn’t long ago that he was rigidly against a pathway to citizenship. But, when his district was redrawn last year -- to include many more Hispanics -- he says he began seeing the issue differently. Critics say it’s a political move -- because his seat is hotly contested. Coffman, who’s Republican, is back in the district, meeting with constituents, and recently outlined his proposal on immigration in an Op-Ed. He spoke to CPR's Ryan Warner.
