Tejano superstar Selena would have turned 50 on April 16. Her legacy lives on long after death. She performed several times in Colorado, both in Denver and Pueblo, and she’s the subject of a Netflix series and a public radio podcast. In January, Ryan Warner spoke with executive producer Jaime Davila and Seidy Lopez, who plays the singer’s mom in the series. The second season premieres in May. Also joining the conversation, from WBUR Boston, Maria Garcia, creator of the podcast “Anything for Selena.” And fan Steven Linkous who watched Selena perform in Pueblo in 1994.
