For years, Sharletta Evans has wanted to meet her son’s killer, but state law didn’t allow for a face-to-face meeting in prison. That changed last year, and Evans recently got the meeting she’d been hoping for. She’s the first person to take advantage of Colorado’s new restorative justice law. The murderer, Raymond Johnson, was 16 at the time of the killing. He's now 32 years old and was sentenced to life without parole. Ryan Warner speaks with Sharletta Evans.
