The National Brotherhood of Snowsports is returning to Colorado this weekend for its annual ski summit, bringing an estimated 3,000 skiers and snowboarders of color to Keystone through February 28th. The international organization, considered the largest of its kind in the world focused on diversifying winter sports, celebrated its 50th anniversary in big fashion in Vail in 2023.
Colorado Matters host Chandra Thomas Whitfield spoke with NBS President Henri Rivers and member Romel Ward, founder of the Denver-based BIPOC Mountain Collective, about the organization's mission and their excitement about returning to the Colorado slopes once again!
