You know how ants work together to accomplish a task that no single ant could do alone? Scientists at CU Boulder are modeling that by building a swarm of ping pong ball-sized robots designed to work together like industrious insects. For example, they may someday send a swarm of small inexpensive robots into space to assemble a telescope. Research team leader Dustin Reishus speaks with Ryan Warner.
