12th Annual Colorado Dulcimer Festival

This two-day gathering of dulcimer players and enthusiasts includes evening concerts, jam sessions and instructional workshops for beginners through advanced players. This year’s guest artists are mountain dulcimer musician Heidi Muller and Guy George, a hammered dulcimer virtuoso.

This traveling exhibition brings to life a pivotal year in American history through photographs, artifacts, vintage pop culture items and interactive lounges. Items on display include a purple jacket worn by rock legend Jimi Hendrix, Mr. Rogers’ sweater and sneakers, a full-size Vietnam-era Huey helicopter and a camera used to photograph Robert Kennedy the night he was shot.
19th Annual Denver Jewish Film Festival

The theme of this year’s festival is “Coexistence,” featuring films about living in peace together despite our differences. One of the featured films is “Of Many,” which tells the story of the relationship between an Orthodox Rabbi and an imam at New York University, set against the backdrop of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Produced by the Colorado Railroad Museum, this documentary film tells the story of how the railroad helped form the community of Five Points in Denver. It also includes a look at the men who lived there and worked as pullman porters and dining car waiters.
