
People and their pets tend to run into coyotes more frequently in the winter, when the animals start to breed. A few simple actions can help improve your safety during an encounter, according to Mary Ann Bonnell. She is a partner with the new Denver Coyote Project and the visitor services supervisor for Jefferson County Open Space.
She spoke to Colorado Matters host Nathan Heffel.
