Legacy Circle

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

Winston Churchill

Colorado Public Radio sincerely thanks those individuals who have made a lasting and meaningful gift through estate planning.

The CPR Legacy Circle was established to recognize members that make special gifts that perpetuate their giving past a lifetime. Legacy Circle members are recognized for their future support made through beneficiary designations, wills, insurance policies, real estate and other types of charitable giving methods. These members of vision provide a sustainable and alternate source of funds to support the great programming at CPR for generations to come.

For 50 years, CPR has delivered meaningful news, music, and cultural experiences to everyone in Colorado using the power of the human voice in all its forms. We sincerely appreciate your engagement in helping CPR play a vital role in our society as a news gatherer, watchdog, and context provider of critical Colorado events, as well as a source of music for balance, reflection and reconnection to your soul.

At CPR we bring you stories that inspire, and we'd love to hear yours! Celebrate a lifetime of listening by including Colorado Public Radio in your will or estate plans. If you choose to include Colorado Public Radio in your plans, or have not yet notified us that you have done so, please contact us so we may thank you and acknowledge your role in our Legacy Circle.

Shellie Rosser describes her legacy decision

"I’m a proud member of CPR’s Legacy Circle. As an estate planning attorney, I work with people who, like me, often name non-profits as a beneficiary in their wills and trusts. I specified CPR as a beneficiary in my will because as a former mayor, I value CPR’s reporting on local government in an unbiased manner, and I want to support that."

Ford Wheatley

"Colorado Public Radio has been my constant companion for many years. It is a wonderful gift in my life. To express my gratitude, I am naming the station as a beneficiary in my will. A bequest to CPR will help ensure the continuation of good programming for thousands of Colorado listeners. What better gift can we leave?"

“I made the decision to put Colorado Public Radio in my will. I wanted to leave behind something that was beautiful. I became a Legacy Partner because I wanted to leave behind the inspiration and the joy that I have found in Colorado Public Radio.”
